Enhancements to Rate Change Report (Dynamic)

The Rate Change report (Dynamic) has been enhanced to allow users to compare the following details when a reservation is modified:

• Rate plan

• Room type

• Room rate

Users can compare the values used at the time of booking the reservation and the values that exist after the reservation is modified.

To support this enhancement, the following changes have been made:

• A new report generation parameter, Group By, has been added to the report. This field displays the following options:

  • Date

  • Confirmation

Field	Description
Date	When selected, a new column, Date, is displayed and the records are grouped based on the arrival date of reservations.
Confirmation	When selected, the records are grouped based on the confirmation number of reservations.

• The following new columns have been added:

Field	Description
Rate Change	Displays the following indicators: Increased: When the current rate is greater than the original rate. Decreased: When the current rate is lesser than the original rate. Modified: When the rate plan is modified. This column can be sorted. Users can search and filter records using the rate change indicators.
Variance	The difference between the original and current rates for each date.
Variance Total by Day	The total variance calculated for each day.
Reason	The override reason selected when overriding the room rate. This column can be sorted. Users can filter records using this value.
Comment	The comment entered when overriding the room rate.
